mm music day..countinues

Black Sabaath almost died when OZZY was out. Was listening to albums called HEADLESS CROSS and DE-HUMANISER but there was no punch.TONY MARTIN could never and can never stand against the brilliance of OZZY.

The headless cross can be more closely related to a more pop oriented rock. It lacks the punch, its too soft ....too soft and the album is a wasted time...i shall rate the album on a scale of 5 ar 1 not more than that. The irony is with the kind of lyrics, the soft music seems misfit. If some death group picks up these lyrics, they can produce the right blend of the lyrics and the music. Too much of melody for ears used to listening to heavy metal stuff.

The music day celebrations countinues

MUSIC DAY...TODAY

Had the worst experience in STYX..my fav pub in bangalore..the DJ experimented all evening n wat all we could appreciate was our old metallica and he literally tested our patience with almost pop kind of music till 10:15pm..our patience broke n we walked out

the only gud song was the painkiller n not by the death but the judas priest oiginal.
Styx made me regret the decision to visit on a weekday.

So i decided to compensate today...am in control the DJ today n i shall play all day today..all day yes all day...

this one hour will be dedicated to the black sabbath dehumaniser's After All (The Dead) ...n i opened up the show with hallowed be thy name by cardle fo filth.....

am looking forward to a gr8 day ahead.......am ROCKING n rocking hard

more DEATH pouring on me....

DEATH and more DEATH has been pouring on me.

Bangalore has its influence on the life of bangaloreans, especiall those who have moved to this "pub" (not as public as /var/ftp/pub) city. And with a little over one month that i had spent in bangalore, my music taste has been heavily influenced by the STYX DJ's.

Lots of new bands which were lesser known to me had become like one of the few I love right now. Except for the legendary METALLICA that plays at STYX and PANTERA all had been new for me.

Guess what i suggest....if u have been listening to the same music for years now...or have not experimented enough..can listed to a bit of heavy music...go and spend an eveing at STYX@MGRoad

the truth about TAJ ---how true is the truth ?

This thing has been going on for some years now and the truth each party calls---no body knows how true is it.

But to raise a doubt or a controversy is human....when the first and the last landing on moon can be called a fabricated high budget movie shot in the US (read EARTH) produced by NASA....everything is an fargile and as controversial.

Read the taj controversy for urself.

MAN

Just read it somewhere pver the net and felt that it was justified to put it here. Thia made sense to me to blog this.

Because I'm a man, when I lock my keys in the car I will fiddle with a wire clothes hanger and ignore your suggestions that we call a road service until long after hypothermia has set in. Because I'm a man, when the car isn't running very well, I will pop the hood and stare at the engine as if I know what I'm looking at. If another man shows up, one of us will say to the other, "I used to be able to fix these things, but now with all these computers and everything, I wouldn't know where to start." We will then drink beer.

Because I'm a man, when I catch a cold I need someone to bring me soup and take care of me while I lie in bed and moan. You never get as sick as I do, so for you this isn't an issue.

Because I'm a man, I can be relied upon to purchase basic groceries at the store, like milk or bread. I cannot be expected to find exotic items like "Cumin" or "Tofu". For all I know these are the same thing. And never, under any circumstances, expect me to pick up anything for which "feminine hygiene product" is a euphemism.

Because I'm a man, when one of our appliances stops working I will insist on taking it apart, despite evidence that this will just cost me twice as much once the repair person gets here and has to put it back together.

Because I'm a man, I must hold the television remote control in my hand while I watch TV. If the thing has been misplaced, I may miss a whole show looking for it (though one time I was able to survive by holding a calculator).

Because I'm a man, there is no need to ask me what I'm thinking about. The answer is always either sex, racing, or football, though I have to make up something else when you ask, so don't.

Because I'm a man, I do not want to visit your mother, or have your mother come visit us, or talk to her when she calls, or think about her any more than I have to. Whatever you got her for mother's day is okay, I don't need to see it. And don't forget to pick up something for my Mom too!!

Because I'm a man, you don't have to ask me if I liked the movie. Chances are, if you're crying at the end of it, I didn't.

Because I'm a man, I think what you're wearing is fine. I thought what you were wearing five minutes ago was fine, too. Either pair of shoes is fine. With the belt or without it looks fine. Your hair is fine. You look fine. Can we just go now?

Because I'm a man,, and this is, I will share equally in the housework. You just do the laundry, the cooking, the gardening, the cleaning, and the dishes. I'll do the rest

new music on my ears

ICED EARTH's new album "The Glorious Burden" is what am listening to right on..the music is gud rather strong..lately have been exposed to new music especially death metal and more of grunge. My music is growing louder and heavier, but isn't it an irony that the amount of music i get to hear is pretty less(measured in hours per week) as compared to whnat i have been exposed to in the past....

Its kind of a war album..and makes me think on the lines of how can some one go to the heights of bravery and what drives men to do what we can not even imagine and feel simulated to even read about. How do armies composed of humble soldiers who are just ordianry men do such daredevil acts of bravely, their valor...always leaves me staring blank...thinking and thinking more..

Just read about the 1st July, 1863 the so called American Independence Day, could not derive much of it but stil what i could make sense of was something each american must feel proud of...

the lyrics for the new album are available at

http://www.darklyrics.com/lyrics/icedearth/thegloriousburden.html

N for the one i liked the most the lyrics are as follows

Track 8. Hollow Man

Emptiness, consuming me
Head in hands, I can hardly speak
Looking for solitude
Lost in humanity
True knowledge leads to suffering
A constant quest an endless dream
Searching for inner peace
Hidden so deep in me

Don't wanna be a hollow man
Ain't gonna be the hollow man

Sadness comes knocking constantly
Filling up my eyes, for all to see
Peace will come someday
I pray that it finds a way
Darkness caressing my mind and soul
My spirits rejecting, I'm feeling whole
Emptiness goes away
Fills with the light of day

Don't wanna be a hollow man
Ain't gonna be the hollow man

I rise up like the pheonix
from the ashes of an older way
With wisdom gained, I turn away
I turned away
Hollow man find yourself some other Plan

Don't wanna be a hollow man
Ain't gonna be the hollow man

Must hear are the three sequal tracks of the album namely The Devil To Pay, Hold At All Costs and High Water Mark
